Dark blue emulsion leaves marks.

share

Hi, I have a very dark blue Matt emulsion wall. If you touch the wall it leaves white powdery finger marks. I use to have a similar colour & therefore problem on my stairs which I over painted as I thought it was the paint – obviously not. What can I do about it. I love the colour but even wiping the wall down leaves marks.
Thanks
Martin

  1. You need to Seal in all the walls with a Pigmented Shellac Sealer Primer, then repaint with a high grade brand paint like Sherwin Williams, get the same color if you like… use a flat finish…
