Simply put, I would recommend against it. These products are quite caustic and will permanently damage the steel in the sprayer.
Many thanks….
I agree with Jay, but if you want to try it here’s somethings to think about;
1. Product Compatibility: Make sure the wood brightening product or bleach solution you intend to use is compatible with being applied with an airless sprayer. Some products may require specific application methods, so it’s essential to check the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Dilution: If the wood brightening product or bleach solution needs to be diluted before application, ensure you follow the recommended dilution ratios to achieve the desired results without damaging the wood surface.
3. Proper Settings: Adjust the pressure, tip size, and spray pattern on the airless sprayer to ensure even application and prevent over-saturation of the wood. Test the settings on a small inconspicuous area before proceeding with the full application.
4. Safety Precautions: When working with bleach solutions, especially, it is crucial to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves, goggles, and a mask, to protect yourself from potential skin and respiratory irritation.
