Lighten the gel stain on a fiberglass door.

I have a fiberglass door I stained with Gel stain. I would like it to be lighter than it is, but am not sure if there is anything I can do to lighten it, any ideas? Does anyone know if you can lighten the gel stain on a fiberglass door?
