When is the best time to paint the interior of my home?

I want to know if I should paint the interior of my home only in the spring or fall, or if it really doesn’t matter what time of year.

A homes interior can be painted any time of the year. Painting during the winter will temporarily increase the humidity in a room. This could cause condensation on windows. Plus the smells associated with interior painting will linger around longer.

The best time to paint is when the weather is good enough to crack open a window or two for ventilation, but this isn't absolutely necessary. And, low VOC paints can be used if the smell of paint is a concern.
