I think there are a couple of ways to go here. I'm not sure I'd go with red for the door — a red door is a lovely effect, but against red brick, it wouldn't stand out terribly well. I do like the sense of contrast here, though (the dark shutters against the white siding, and the white door against the dark brick). Perhaps more of a charcoal color on the shutters, and the off-white of the siding on the door? Or for a more unusual color choice — how about a dark blue on the shutters (like Benjamin Moore Evening Sky) and a pale green on the door (like Benjamin Moore Apple Blossom)?
I would paint the shutters a different color than the roof. Possibly a nice shiny black? The front door would look nice painted red, however make sure it compliments the tones in the bricks.
