Roller Marks on Ceiling

share

We primed our ceiling with Bin oil based primer and then pained two coats of ceiling paint over it. There were a lot of roller marks on the ceiling when we primed it but thought the paint would cover over them. Unfortunately that did not happen and now you can see all the roller marks. What can we do to fix this?

  1. Many dedicated ceiling paints don't cover or work well so another coat might be needed. If the roller marks are thick areas or thick lines of primer left behind from rolling then you will need to cover these up with drywall mud and repaint. I would try another coat of paint first before doing anything drastic.
