My husband and I have been back and forth on this for months. We are painting our house a light color with dark trim and it only made sense to paint the lighter color first. Its easier to hide the lighter color then to try and hide the dark. By the way, I was right. Thanks

Paint the main house color first then the trim. This will get the largest areas, and color, out of the way and leave you with the fun details, the trim.
