Sometimes some brands of paint will do this and this is good reason to use only high quality paint… your brushing technique should leave the brushed area ready, without any excess or laps of paint… so the roller will "blend in" and give a nice uniform texture finish… you should roll the top areas "side ways" so you can get your roller close to the trim edge (about 1/4 inch close) … don't "work" the roller trying to spread the paint too far… apply it liberally as you go along…
