Paint Bubbled

share

I took dry wallpaper off above our bathroom. I removed the adhesive, cleaned the walls, tape, mudded, sanded, cleaned the walls again, waited several weeks and painted the walls/ceiling with oil based Kilz. No problem. Two days later I painted with Zinsser Perma White and now it has tiny craters from bubbles that popped. How do I fix this?

  1. There might be something coming through he Kilz and reacting with the paint. You need to reprime but this time use a shellack primer. If the craters are still visible they can be filled with drywall mud or spackling paste. After this has dried the affected areas can be touched-up.
