Yes but it has to be Primed with an exterior Oil Base Wood Primer… then use Sherwin Williams Porch And Deck Enamel… Good Luck!
Why not use an oil base solid color deck stain? This can be applied without a primer and will stick well. Don't use a water base deck stain, they always peel sooner.
