Primer on outside wood?

share

Can I leave a primed piece of wood outside in the rain after it has dried for several hours? Should I cover it with vinyl to keep it unexposed? thanks

  1. Leaving your newly primed wood exposed is fine for a couple of weeks as long as the rain isn't too hard. It is possible you will need to reprime some spots but real damage shouldn't occur.
