Repairing a bad paint job.

share

We had some wallpaper removed and then the walls painted white last year. Paint started to crack in numerous places. We have scraped and muddfded the walls and decided to try and prime one wall. That wall before paint was even dry is bubbling and spiting, what can we seal these walls with so we can get a good coat of paint on the walls.

  1. What type of primer did you use? You will need to use either a shellac primer or oil base primer like Zinsser Cover Stain. Most likely the cause is the wallpaper glue remaining on the wall. Either of these primers will stick to and seal wallpaper glue.
