What color walls would make a room larger?

I have a 8×10 bedroom with seafoam carpeting, wall to wall. What color can I paint the walls that would make the room look larger? The room is now white.

With the carpeting being a sea foam color, your choices are limited to colors that will compliment the green hues of the carpet. Warm neutral colors such a taupe in a shade darker than your carpet should create the illusion of the room being larger. Make sure to paint the base board the same color as the walls so there is no dividing line between the walls and the carpet.
