What do I need to do to use oil base exterior paint? I will be painting over latex exterior paint.
Paint 3 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath townhome, 1100 sq. ft, doors and trim. Cabinets in kitchen and bathroom are not to be painted. Bedrooms are approximately 10 X 11. Sheetrock needs to be repaired in 4 areas, (3) 4X4 & (1) 2×2.
We are currently building a new home consisting of 8000 sq ft. My husband and I were going to paint it ourselves however our builder is promoting a painter who is a friend. Can you advise a fair price?
We need to get a clear finish on our Douglas fir tongue and groove and glulam ceiling very soon. The ceiling and beams span both the interior and exterior and we would like to use a natural looking clear finish. We are thinking about using Cabot clear solutions in natural.
A first coat of stain was applied and the door looked beautiful. Stain appeared to be applied very carefully. Did not wish for a second coat to be applied, but they said that it was in the warranty. Second coat was not applied as carefully as the first one, and
