Hi, I just moved into a home where the previous owner used oil based paint on the trim. It has chipped significantly down to the original so there is a thick chip. Would you suggest I sand the area prior to repainting to smooth the are around the chips? Thank

My painter did 4 coats of paint! That is on top of walls being completely primed also. He said for some reason 2 coats was not working out well (due to spackling maybe). I am concerned that 4 is too much, unheard of. It is Acrylic water based premium Benjamin

Removed wallpaper from sheetrock wall. Think backing is still on wall, seems fuzzy. Wall looks perfect. I want to paint over fuzz what next?
