The exterior paint on my 1920’s Craftsman is quite uneven, probably due to a past owner scraping without sanding, and painting over it. A painter that we hired began work by scraping away chipped paint, applying a white plaster-like substance, letting it dry, and sanding it smooth. It seems OK

I am redoing my kitchen cabinets. I have stripped and sanded course to fine. I applied the stain and wiped the excess and am getting blotches. Is there anything that can prevent this? What am I doing wrong?

I have two edges where the drywall tape has bubbled and caused the paint to crack. How do I fix it? Do I cut out the section of the drywall tape that has bubbled or lifted, then texture, sand and paint?
