No …next time try a small area as a sample (on the back, near the bottom)… all that's left now to lighten the stain is to use Paint and Varnish Remover and STRIP all of it off (follow label instructions)… then restain it…
If you have not yet sealed it, you absolutely can remove the stain. Acetate will remove it; just make sure it claims to be safe for fiberglass. You may need a toothbrush to get it out of the grain.
