Yes that would be classic and attractive. The best way to know if you would like the color is buy a small can of paint of the color that you are thinking about, paint a wooden board with the paint and observe it outside with the same lighting. Make sure you do this at different times of day as the lighting will change, also be open to slight color variations with in the range of colors you want. Small color changes will make huge difference.
