Exterior mold and primer

On the end of my house, which has hardi-plank lap siding which is about 10 years old, there is a little bit of dis-coleration on the laps (mold I assume)on the weather side.What should I do before I prime and what kind if primer should I use? Thanks, Shane

  1. Clean the area with TSP Cleaner and scrub brush… use a high quality exterior oil base primer… preferably from Sherwin Williams… finish coat with their A-100 Gloss (or Satin) color of your choice…
