I have white oil based painted cabinets that I want to antique. Is there a good technique?

The trim on my home is in desperate need of repainting. The paint is chipped in most sections and is impossible to remove all of it with a scraper. I am not in the position to be able to replace the trim nor can I pay someone to paint it
