Retouches Blotchy

share

I have been touching up nicks and marks on my interior walls but they still look (but aren’t to the touch) wet, even after 24 hours. Why? I am using the same paint, Porter interior, about 5 years old, and I stirred it well. The color matches but everything now looks a bit blotchy–not any better than the worn marks before. What can I do to improve this situation?

  1. Touching up after 5 years will not work… the wall color has darkened a bit and changed porosity… you should repaint the entire wall(s) for best results and buy new, high grade paint… that paint that you used is not the best… use Sherwin Williams Classic-99 Latex…
